Within the framework of the project, spinel-based materials doped with transition metals will be synthesized using hydrothermal methods, along with other techniques, to produce nanoscale particles. Synthesized samples will be analyzed for both structural characteristics and spectroscopic properties including persistent luminescence. Using thermoluminescence analysis, the depths of the traps, their filling and redistribution, and the carrier release rate will be determined. This combination of methods will help assess the impact of structural changes on PersL parameters and their potential for bio-imaging applications, especially for use in deep tissues.
